n garde! Add some excitement to your summer vacation with the Cavalier Youth Fencing Summer Camp. Experienced and beginner fencers are welcome to join us. We will spend the week playing games and learning footwork, blade technique, tactics and the principles of competitive fencing—in short, everything you need to know about the sport. On Friday we’ll wrap up the camp with a tournament–show us what you’ve learned!

Requirements: Fencers should come dressed to work hard in loose clothing (no denim jeans) and tennis shoes, and bring a sack lunch. All fencing equipment and instruction is provided.

Instructors: Liz Mayerich and Point Fencing Club Staff.

Champaign/Urbana Park District Resident Fee: $150  or  Non-Resident Fee: $225

With a maximum of 20 Students make sure to register as soon as possible! Registration deadline is August 5th.
