Community Membership

Community Memberships are for individuals who are NOT youth or U of I/ Parkland students.  They may also qualify for family membership rates.

1st semester rate (September- December) $250 plus $50/semester user fee

2nd semester rate (January – May) $250 plus $50/semester user fee

1 year community membership $500 plus $50 year user fee-Savings of $50

Collegiate Membership (Parkland or U of I students)

All collegiate ie; Parkland or U of I students –qualify for this deeply discounted rate.

1st semester rate (September- December) $100 plus $25/semester user fee

2nd semester rate (January – May) $100 plus $25/semester user fee

1 year collegiate membership $200 plus $25 year user fee-Savings of $25

Family Membership (2-4 persons in the same household)

1st semester rate (September- December) $400 plus $50/semester user fee

2nd semester rate (January – May) $400 plus $50/semester user fee

1 year community membership $800 plus $50 year user fee-Savings of $50

Cavalier Youth Membership (Up to age 14)

1st semester rate (September- December)            $175 plus $25/sem. user fee
2nd semester rate (January – May)                         $175 plus $25/sem. user fee
1/week instruction rates above; add $100/semester for instruction 2x week

1 year Cavalier Youth membership                         $300 plus $50 year user fee-Savings of $50

1/week instruction rates above for year rate; add $150/year for instruction 2x week

Special Summer Membership Rates (June/July/August)

June- July-August ONLY: $150 NO OTHER DISCOUNTS APPLY FOR SUMMER MEMBERSHIP

MEMBERSHIP FEES & CLASSES:

*  Fencing I, II, III class is free to members. Non-members pay $100/month & $10/session floor fee

*  Youth Membership is required for Cavaliers Youth program.  Fees are payable in full at the beginning of each semester depending on 1 or 2 day/week instruction/practice.

*  Fencing IV,V, VI class requires membership and an additional $50 to the instructor. All students must have a body cord & lame for electrical fencing.

DAILY FLOOR FEES:  Individuals who are not members must pay a $10.00 daily floor fee at the time of their participation.

USER FEES:  Approved by the PFC & S Board members in July 2009;  the user fee covers maintenance and club expansion, supplies, utilities, new equipment, and club enhancements.  The Collegiate and Cavalier Youth rates reflect a discounted rate.

PAYMENT OF FEES:  All membership fees are payable in cash, by check to: The Point Fencing Club & School  during the first month of the semester.  Paid members will receive a Point Fencing Club & School sew-on patch suitable for jackets or bags etc.

DISCOUNTS:  Members in good standing are eligible for discounts on equipment/clothing.
